The Upper Grand District School Board is fielding a lot of questions about the reopening of schools following the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
They say they are working hard to finalize plans and get them out to the public as soon as possible.
Officials say in order for it to be a safe return for everyone, there are many complex considerations that have to be carefully reviewed.
They will soon be releasing a Parent Guide, with details about the return to school, pre-registration survey and more information.
Updates are being posted on the board’s website ugdsb.ca/fall2020
Elementary and secondary schools will re-open to students full time, in the Upper Grand District School Board in September.
There is a pre-registration survey as parents will have the choice to keep their child at home if they don’t feel comfortable returning to school.
The survey is being sent out to families asking parents and guardians to confirm if their child will do distance learning at home, or will return to school.
