A Collingwood charity is happy to take your donations, but not your junk.
The Habitat ReStore on Sandford Fleming Drive got an unwanted surprise on the long weekend.
Staff and volunteers arrived at work on Saturday morning to find a load of unsellable items dumped on the property.
The load included old lamps, box springs, mattresses and assorted furniture that was dumped on the roadside outside the gates at the ReStore.
Last week, a row of used and broken toilets showed up on the property.
Habitat is asking for the public’s help.
They ask that if you see people illegally dumping outside their gates, please take down a licence plate and vehicle description and report it.
The Habitat ReStore is open for business Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am – 4:30 pm for shopping and product donations.
