Hub Test Results
The National Hockey League says there have been zero positive coronavirus test results since the 24 playoff teams entered the quarantined bubbles in Toronto and Edmonton.
The league has administered more than 7,000 tests over the past week and testing will continue for all team members in the bubbles.
The NHL will not provide identities or teams for any future positive tests.

Braves Lose Soroka
Atlanta Braves ace Mike Soroka is out for the rest of the season with a torn Achilles tendon,
Soroka, a Canadian, was hurt after he broke toward first to cover the bag on a grounder, but went down on his first step off the mound.
Last year Soroka went 13 & 4 for the Braves.
COVID Cardinals
Major League Baseball announced the St Louis Cardinals are reporting 13 total positive COVID-19 cases, which led to the postponing their entire 4-game series at Comerica Park in Detroit against the Tigers.
The Cardinals had their entire series in Milwaukee against the Brewers called off this weekend due to multiple COVID-19 tests.
CFL Finance
The Canadian Football League is looking for a $30 million interest-free loan from the federal government.
The CFL reportedly turned down a $40 million loan from the Business Development Bank of Canada, which contained a higher interest rate and fees.
The league says it needs financial assistance to hold a shortened season.
Rock Buys XFL
Dwayne “The Rock’’ Johnson, Dany Garcia, and RedBird Capital Partners were selected as the winning bidder for the assets of Alpha Entertainment LLC, which is the parent company of the XFL
The assets were sold for approximately $15 million.
The transaction is subject to a bankruptcy court approval on Friday and, assuming that closing conditions are satisfied, the deal is expected to close later this month.
The XFL, founded by the Vince McMahon in 2001, lasted 1 season, restarted this year but was forced to halt operations midseason due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In April, the league filed for bankruptcy.
