Some timely Covid-19 health advice from Premier Doug Ford today.
Asked about the recent influx of people on Niagara-area beaches and in public spaces, Ford says common sense should still be practised throughout the Province.
Ford urges people to continue practising social distancing and the wearing of facemasks.
He says he doesn’t want people to get reckless and lose the headway that’s been made to date.
“You know something – this pandemic is not over,” said Ford. “It’s going to continue going. And in my opinion – and I could be wrong/ I’m no medical professional – but, (in) my opinion, this is going until January until we get a vaccine, or hopefully sooner, when we get a vaccine and we have to be on guard constantly. We can’t take our eye off the ball for a second.”
Ford adds that social circles of 10 will continue for now.
Today @samoosterhoff, @VictorFedeli and I announced $2M through the Ontario Together Fund to @CleanWorksCorp to increase production of their one-of-a-kind, made-in-Ontario sanitization devices for #PPE.
