Orangeville Police are re-opening their facilities next week.
Tuesday August 4, the Orangeville Police Service will be re-opening their offices at 390 C Line, from 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
Despite a declaration back in March that they had to close to help contain the spread of COVID-19, the Orangeville Police remained committed to provide essential services.
There will be a few changes with the reopening though.
A staff member will direct traffic flow, screen visitors prior to entry and ensure appropriate social distancing, masks must be worn and there are markers on the floor and in the parking lot to ensure distancing.
A Plexiglas barrier has been installed at the front counter and there’s a hand sanitizing station set up, and only debit and credit cards will be accepted as payment.
Citizens are reminded to only visit the Police Service if necessary, schedule appointments when requested/required and try to use the Criminal Record Check service online.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to visit the OPS website: www.orangevillepolice.ca/services/criminal-records, print off the appropriate application and have it completed prior to visiting the Police Service.
