Saugeen Shores Police are investigating a break and enter at a Port Elgin business sometime during the overnight hours from July 27 to July 28.
Police say an unknown suspect used force to enter an eatery and stole several items including electronics, alcohol and cash. They say the suspect left behind articles that may assist in identifying him or her.
Saugeen Shores Police did not disclose the business broken into or where it is located in Port Elgin.
It appears to be The Woodpecker on Goderich Street. The restaurant published a Facebook post saying it was broken into Monday night or very early Tuesday morning leaving broken windows and glass, while iPads and liquor were stolen.
Saugeen Shores Police is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
