The report from the Collingwood Judicial Inquiry is expected before the end of October.
Associate Chief Justice Frank Marrocco issued a statement today.
He says he has agreed to chair the Independent Commission into COVID-19 and long term care.
He says while the pandemic has had an impact on the Collingwood Inquiry’s work, he will release his report prior to October 31.
Marrocco says he is pleased to be able to contribute in some small way to the issues presented by the pandemic, but remains focused on delivering his report and recommendations to the town of Collingwood.
The Collingwood Judicial Inquiry has been looking into the sale of half of Collus to PowerStream in 2012 and the spending of the proceeds on two recreation facilities.
