The Kelso Beach Waterfront Trail in Owen Sound remains closed due to high water levels, and additional areas of the park have now been closed as well.
City staff say active wave action and debris have also created hazards at the picnic pavilion area and amphitheatre at Kelso Beach. Those areas are now closed and park users are asked to avoid using them until the high water levels can be addressed by city staff.
The waterfront trail from the beach washroom to the splash pad was closed earlier this week and won't re-open until conditions improve. Barricades remain in place.
