
An Orangeville man has been charged with impaired driving after being stopped by Shelburne Police.
Authorities say they were called by a concerned citizen at around 10:20 am Monday morning.
The caller reported a man sleeping behind the wheel of a running car outside a business in town.
Officers woke the man up and became suspicious that he was impaired.
The 20-year old failed the impaired test and was charged with impaired driving operation while impaired by drugs, possession of a prohibited weapon and driving vehicle with cannabis readily available.
His license was taken for 90 days and car impounded for a week.
