A Bluewater man is facing charges, after an impaired driving incident turned into an assault.
Huron OPP say a pickup squealed his tires and took off southbound along Main Street South in Exeter.
After stopping the vehicle, officers say the driver failed a roadside breath test, along with a breath test at a nearby detachment.
Police say the driver resisted arrest during the initial roadside breath test, and assaulted the arresting officer.
A 29 year old man is facing charges for impaired driving, assault a peace officer, and stunt driving.
