Jon Rahm managed to survive a late challenge from Ryan Palmer to win the event by 3 strokes.
Rahm watched an 8-shot lead at the turn shrink to 3 shots with 3 holes to play.
On the 16th, Rahm hit a clutch chip for birdie….but it turned into a bogey because of a penalty.
Regardless, Rahm won the event finishing the tournament at 9 under par under soggy conditions
MacKenzie Hughes was the low Canadian.
Hughes tied for 6th and as a result has earned a berth in the US Open in September in New York State
Corey Conners from Listowel, Ontario was even par in the final round and finished tied for 22nd.
The 3M Open begins Thursday in Minnesota

Austin Dillon stayed in front after a restart with 2 laps to go and beat rookie teammate Tyler Reddick to the checkered flag to win the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500
Dillon raced to his third career win and first since Daytona at the start of the 2018 season.

Charlie Montoyo has confirmed Hyun-Jin Ryu will be the Opening Day starter for the Toronto Blue Jays Friday at Tampa Bay against the Rays.
Ryu was 14 & 5 with a major league-best 2.32 ERA for the Los Angeles Dodgers last season.
