An assault in Wasaga Beach has resulted in the arrest of a 28-year old man.
Police were called early yesterday morning about an assault in progress at a motel on River Road West, where multiple witnesses stated one man was repeatedly punching another, who was screaming for help.
Officers arrived and took the accused into custody on charges of uttering threats, break and enter, mischief, assault and failing to comply with a release order.
He will appear for a bail hearing later today.
