Thousands more Ontario businesses will reopen Friday as part of Stage 3.
Today Premier Doug Ford said Durham, Haldimand-Norfolk, Lambton, Hamilton, Niagara, Halton and York Region will all enter Stage 3 because lowering caseloads in those regions now warrant it
Ford says rebuilding Ontario’s economy starts by helping businesses in these and other areas get back on their feet.
“My friends, it starts with simple actions – visiting your local restaurant or small business,” he said. “Shopping local – buying Ontario-made when you’re out at the grocery store or hardware store.”
Ahead of a potential second wave in the fall, the Province is unveiling a more efficient case and contact-tracing management system via a new custom-built Covid-19 cloud-based software that health units will be able to use.
Today we have more good news for Ontario families, businesses and communities. But we won’t stop until every worker in Ontario gets back to work and back on their feet. As of Friday July 24th, more regions will move into Stage 3.
