A 19-year-old Collingwood man who recently trespassed and fell from Eugenia Falls will be looking at a $15,000 bill to cover the cost of the rescue.
The man allegedly went through a locked gate at the conservation area in Grey Highlands last month and suffered serious injuries in a fall, which required an extraction using a rescue basket.
The falls had been closed to the public, after an 11 year old boy had fallen there just three days prior.
The total cost for the Collingwood man’s rescue is $15,444.50, which will be invoiced to the individual by the Grey Highlands finance department.
