A 29-year-old Orillia woman faces impaired driving charges after a vehicle was taken without consent in Oro-Medonte.
July 11th just before 7 pm, police received the report. It was believed that the driver who took the vehicle was intoxicated.
They caught up with the driver and eventually charged her with impaired driving, failing to surrender a license and being a novice driver with a blood alcohol content above zero.
The accused has been released and will appear in Orillia court on September 15th.
