Tips from the public led Southern Georgian Bay OPP to remove two suspected impaired drivers from area roads over the weekend.
On Friday night, police were called about a possible drunk driver with a broken down vehicle on Highway 400 near Quarry Road in Tay Township, where a 28 year old Chatsworth woman was taken into custody for impaired operation.
Then on Sunday night, officers responded to a report of a possible impaired driver operating a grey pickup truck in Midland.
Police say the vehicle was located behind an Elizabeth Street residence and the driver, a 30 year old man was arrested.
Both of the accused have lost their vehicles for the next week and licenses for the next 3 months.
