There have been concerns this week regarding physical distancing at Orangeville’s Splash Pads.
It’s no surprise that they are a very popular spot with the heatwave we are having.
Town Councillor Todd Taylor says in order to address complaints about the issue, they have town staff monitoring the splash pads.
He says during the initial daily start up, town staff will be on site with periodic checks throughout the day from 10 am to 7 pm to make sure people are properly distancing.
The plan – Taylor says – is to educate users about the most safe way to enjoy the facilities.
