A new initiative was announced today to promote all products made in Ontario.
Funding for the Ontario Made program is made possible through the $50 million Ontario Together Fund.
The program will promote the many world-class goods that are made across the province by helping consumers easily identify, access and purchase local products.
378,000 jobs were added in Ontario in June, but Premier Doug Ford says there’s still more work to do creating jobs and made in Ontario products.
“As we brace for what the future might hold, no more than ever we need to support our own – that means supporting Ontario businesses and manufacturers,” said Ford.
Ford says Ontario is an economic powerhouse and he won’t stop until every worker in the Province is back on their feet.
In Ontario this month 377,900 people are back to work.
We still have a long way to go in our economic recovery, but this is a good sign and we won’t stop pushing the economy until everyone is back on their feet. pic.twitter.com/V9trYnj0aS
