Power should be restored shortly to all residences and businesses impacted by an outage near Wiarton.
The lights went out for more than 1,000 hydro customers Wednesday afternoon.
Hydro One says crews believe the lines may have been struck by a third party piece of equipment, which took out power back from the station.
Power has already been restored for most, with the remainder still experiencing an outage expected to be back online by 6:15 p.m.
