A 48-year-old Barrie resident is $100,000 richer after winning an Instant Bingo Doubler ticket.
Paula Boutilier, a married mother of two, was having a bad day so her friend came over to visit and brought her a coffee and the ticket. She played it immediately and uncovered her win with her friend by her side.
“We didn’t believe it! We checked my ticket on the OLG Lottery App many times,” says Paula. “It was a very exciting moment,” she smiled.
The customer service rep plans to share some of her winnings with her friend, pay bills and invest. “I’ll also start planning a trip somewhere,” she adds.
“It’s so exciting. My mind has been going a mile a minute trying to figure out how to enjoy my winnings. I have so much freedom of choice,” she concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Cedar Pointe Convenience on Cedar Pointe Drive in Barrie.
