A 41-year-old Midland man faces charges in connection with an armed robbery at a Tim Hortons in Penetanguishene.
It happened early this morning at the Tim Hortons on Main Street.
The suspect fled after a staff member was threatened with a weapon and had their money and some personal belongings taken.
The accused is charged with robbery with a weapon, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and failure to comply with probation orders.
The suspect was tracked via the OPP canine unit after he was seen heading into the bush off Highway 93.
He’s being held for a bail hearing.
