A special meeting to get community input on the feasibility of switching from the municipal police force to OPP in Shelburne is being held Tuesday July 7.
Shelburne residents will have their say on the OPP costing, which would determine if they would disband Shelburne Police.
The meeting is from 6:30 to 8 pm and will taken place electronically through Zoom video conferencing and will be available for viewing live on the Town’s YouTube channel.
To have Zoom access or submit questions for the meeting people were asked to register ahead of July 2nd.
The town has six months from June 22nd to respond to the OPP.
