For the second time in three days, a boat has been destroyed by fire on a local waterway.
On Saturday afternoon, flames gutted a vessel on the narrows between Lakes Simcoe and Couchiching in Orillia.
No injuries were reported, but the busy waterway was closed to boat traffic while the OPP and Orillia Fire dealt with the burning vessel.
On Canada Day, a boat was also destroyed by fire on Barrie’s Kempenfelt Bay.
