A portion of Queen Street in Kincardine will close to traffic in the evening on weekends for the rest of summer.
The Municipality of Kincardine advises Queen Street from north of Durham Market Street North to Lambton Street will be closed from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday to Sunday, beginning July 3 to Sept. 7.
“This road closure has been approved by Council of the Municipality of Kincardine in order to support current and expected future physical distancing and public health restrictions around the Covid-19 pandemic,” a release from the municipality explains.
Kincardine municipal staff advise tenants who live on Queen Street can obtain a special parking permit that will allow them to park in one of the municipal lots during the road closures.
