Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 23 year old Georgian Bluffs man they say they found asleep at the wheel.
Police say on Saturday night (June 27), just before 3 a.m. they found car stopped on Allen Street in Shallow Lake.
According to police, the car was running and the lights were on.
They say the driver appeared to be sleeping or passed out behind the wheel and after what police say was numerous attempts to get the driver's attention, he finally woke up and spoke with the officers.
OPP say the driver was transported to the Wiarton detachment where the accused reportedly failed an impairment evaluation.
The man is charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and drugs.
