Stevenson Memorial Hospital is resuming their implementation of an Intensive Care Unit.
Construction on the Level 2 ICU will start July 13.
There was $1 million in funding for the 16 week project provided by the Central Local Health Integration Network.
The project had been delayed because of infrastructure challenges and the pandemic.
Hospital officials hope the new unit, which will be named at a later date, will be completed by the end of the year.
