Saugeen Shores will discuss beach access during COVID-19 at tonight's special council meeting.
It will be held online at 6:30 p.m. You can watch a live stream of it on You Tube.
Town staff will lay out plans for more signage, a social media campaign. They'll give updates on access to Gobles Grove and distancing on beach volleyball courts as well as parking and increased police patrol of the beaches.
A report prepared for tonight's meeting says things have been going well so far for th most part, stating, “In general, patrons were observed making sincere efforts to follow the rules and respect others personal space. “
