You can now go garage sailing in Barrie.
The city is lifting the ban on yard sales, effective immediately.
There is still a limit of 10 people allowed at public gatherings and events which applies to yard sales.
There are also rules which include physical distancing, wearing a mask, and when possible using electronic or contactless payment rather than handling cash. You are also cautioned not to try on any clothing and limit touching items where possible.
If you are having a sale, you need to make sure there are no more than 10 people in your driveway or lawn at any one time and consider leaving items on the porch for pick-up rather than meeting in person for a transaction.
