Provincial Police say an investigation is underway into a report of animal cruelty in Chesley.
South Bruce OPP say the incident was first reported to police on June 17, after someone discovered “parts of small animals” along 4th Street North West.
Police have not disclosed what type of animal remains were found or released any additional details at this time.
Causing unnecessary suffering to an animal is a criminal offence that carries a maximum penalty of five years in jail if convicted.
