The Province has announced more than $13 million via the Youth Opportunities Fund for youth-led projects
The money will support local organization grant winners doing work across Ontario.
Jill Dunlop, Ontario’s associate minister of children and women’s issues, said the recipients of the fund number 43.
“All this year’s successful grantees understand the unique needs and identities of the children, youth and families in their neighbourhood,” said Dunlop. “They are in the best position to build local connections and develop solutions that fit the specific needs of the young people and families they serve.”
One of the grant winners is Black Moms Connection, which focuses on economic empowerment for Black mothers across the GTA.
