There will be plenty of clean up today in Muskoka, after a nasty storm moved through the area.
It caused numerous lightning strikes, power outages and heavy rain yesterday.
Muskoka airport had 96mm, while Bracebridge got 84mm.
Meanwhile, Environment Canada has confirmed that a tornado touched down at Sturgeon Lake in the City of Kawartha Lakes, but no injuries were reported.
Effective immediately the Town of #Gravenhurst has closed #Peninsula Road at civic address 458. The closure is due to a washout of the road due to the significant rainfall received last night https://t.co/5LHkzXYIp4 pic.twitter.com/Zl5K92DM83
