A suspected impaired driver has been arrested in Orillia, thanks to several tips from concerned citizens.
On Wednesday night, police were called about a possible drunk driver leaving an address downtown.
Officers responded, but failed to locate the vehicle, until another call was received a short time later about the same vehicle travelling in Oro-Medonte, near Orillia.
Once again, police searched the area to no avail.
Shortly after midnight, a third call came in about the vehicle in the West Ridge area of Orillia, where finally it was located and stopped.
A 39 year old woman is now facing charges of impaired operation, driving while suspended, breaching probation and other other Highway Traffic Act offences.
