It’s that time of year: spring into action and help clean up our city.
Orillia’s annual community clean-up initiative kicks off today, in partnership with Lakehead University.
You can participate by registering your group online, then drop by Veterans’ Memorial Park between 12 and 4 p.m. today or tomorrow between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. to pick up your pitch-in garbage bags and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Then until July 4, residents are asked to collect garbage in their designated area, and the bags will be picked up on their regular garbage day for free.
