More parts of the province can move to Stage 2 of reopening today.
The areas allowed to reopen include: Halton, Lambton, Durham, Niagara, York, Hamilton, and Haldimand-Norfolk.
Stage 2 allows for the reopening of outdoor patios at bars and restaurants, shopping malls, outdoor recreation facilities, as well as hair and beauty salons.
However, regions with higher numbers of COVID-19 cases, including Toronto, Peel, and Windsor-Essex, will have to wait at least one more week before they can learn when they can reopen.
