A suspected impaired boater has been arrested on Penetanguishene bay.
Police say around 6 last night, the marine unit stopped a vessel near the Town Dock to perform an equipment check.
Upon speaking with the operator of the vessel the officers suspected that he may have been consuming alcohol and investigated further by administering a breath test, which resulted in a 38 year old Collingwood man being taken into custody.
Police also determined the man was prohibited from operating any vehicle, and he’ll appear in court later this summer.
