The Federal Liberals are pledging millions more in Covid-19 financial relief for Indigenous businesses.
Today PM Justin Trudeau announced $133 million to protect jobs and help Indigenous communities weather the storm.
“Of this funding, $117 million will help small and community-owned Indigenous businesses get through this tough time,” he said.
The remaining $16 million will help Indigenous businesses in the tourism industry, a sector that supports thousands of jobs across the country.
More details on the announcement are expected to come later today.
