Heat and humidity combined with an unstable air mass and a cold front mean there will be a strong risk of severe storms in parts of Ontario today.
The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal will arrive in the southern part of the province this morning, especially the Greater Toronto Area.
Then, we should expect some sunny breaks and high winds in between the showers and thunderstorms, which are expected to intensify tonight.
The temperature is expected to soar above 30 C, with a humidex near 40 C.
