
Orangeville is getting a high speed internet system installed.
Wightman Communications has committed $56 million to bringing a fibre project to the town that will start with the Orangeville Business Park later in 2020.
The company plans to put more than 350-thousand metres of fibre optic lines throughout Orangeville through the project.
It will provide customers with multiple Internet speeds, high definition TV with the latest user features, and digital home phone service
Wightman will start the fibre construction this fall, moving to the residential sector next year, and even plans to open a retail location in Orangeville in 2021.
