There will be a rally in Thornbury tomorrow (Saturday) in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Participants will be lining Highway 26 in the peaceful demonstration from noon to 3 P.M.
You are asked to meet at the Frank and Jessie Smith Memorial Park which is between town hall and the BVO building.
All messages on signs must be pre-approved by volunteers before using them in public.
Organizers encourage you to wear a mask and you must physically distance yourself from others.
They add that this is a peaceful, roadside demonstration to show as many people as possible that Thornbury is an inclusive community. Traffic will not be impacted.
