Premier Doug Ford says extending Ontario’s State of Emergency until June 30th doesn’t mean the reopening is on hold.
Today Ford indicated the Provincial extension will be done out of precaution.
“The State of Emergency is not going to affect reopening whatsoever,” said Ford. “We’re going to move forward with reopening. were going to look at a regional plan as well.”
Moving on to Stage 2 of the reopening will ultimately be up to Ontario’s health Table.
Ford says it has to happen safely and that no one wants to get the economy reopened more than he does.
