Bruce County is re-opening its trails and access points to the Saugeen River.
The county says several Saugeen River access points in Paisley and Walkerton are open today, while county trails will open as of Monday, June 1.
Bruce County had closed its trails in late March in the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Provincial parks and conservation authorities already started re-opening some trails and limited day-use services in mid-May.
The county's re-opening of trails falls on the same date national parks will begin resuming some services, including opening some trails for walkthrough access.
Bruce County owned trails include the Carrick Tract, the Brant Tract, the Kinloss Tract, the Culross Tract, the Amabel Tract, the MTB Adventure Park and the Bruce County Rail Trail.
The county says the Lindsay Tract will remain closed.
