The police search for two people earlier today in Collingwood started when OPP tried to make an arrest during a traffic stop.
Just before 10:30 am OPP tried to arrest the subject of an ongoing investigation.
Police say the suspect and passenger – two males – fled the scene in a vehicle towards the Blue Shores Development in Collingwood.
OPP searched the area for several hours until the primary suspect was arrested shortly after 1 pm in Peel Region.
OPP still have not revealed the nature of their investigation involving the primary suspect. More info could be released next week.
