The waiving of transit and parking fees will continue until July 5th in Orillia.
Mayor Steve Clarke says it’s to support residents and local businesses during these challenging times.
All pre-purchased April Orillia Transit passes and April municipal parking permits will also continue to be honoured through to July 5th.
Also, people who bought a monthly Orillia Transit pass for April, May or June will be able to redeem them for replacement passes for an equal number of months after payment resumes.
And remember – throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, users have to board and exit buses through the rear doors. Those with accessibility requirements can use the front door if necessary.
