The Hansen Development, that sits behind the Orangeville Mall will be on the next town council agenda.
Monday May 25th council is expected to discuss the development.
Town Councillor Todd Taylor posted the information on his Facebook Page, asking residents what they think about it, and how they want council to move forward on it.
He tells us the town is looking to move forward with the project and it’s expected there will be a vote by council to determine the next steps.
Taylor says personally he has an issue with the timing because he believes residents should have the opportunity to speak in person to council about such an important issue.
He would like to see it put on hold until in-person council meetings can be held again.
One of the main issues people have with the development is the fact that Hansen Blvd has not been extended right through the subdivision, with just one road in and out.
