Some good news as we head into a nice stretch of warm weather.
The Town of Orangeville has announced they have reopened a number of outdoor recreation spots as part of the first stage set out by the Ontario government.
Effective Thursday May 21st the off-leash dog park, sports fields and courts, the Rotary Skate Park will all be reopened.
Use of the amenities is still subject to the recommendations being followed including no group gatherings of more than 5 people that are not from the same household, and physical distancing protocols.
Walkers and cyclists can use the parks and trails to go through, no team sports are allowed unless they are all from the same family.
Certain amenities remain closed such as public washrooms, playground equipment, splash pads and outdoor fitness equipment.
