New buses will be hitting the streets of Collingwood, but it won’t happen overnight.
The town has received a total of 3.4 million dollars from the Federal and provincial governments to update the current Colltrans fleet.
The program will start this year and go to 2027. It includes the purchase of eight buses and six bus refurbishments.
The first new transit bus is expected in early 2021.
