The Ontario government has lifted the restricted fire zone in place since early April.
The designation had barred all outdoor fires in the parts of the province that were covered by the burning ban, including South Bruce Peninsula, Northern Bruce Peninsula and some of Georgian Bluffs.
The province will continue to assess forest fire hazard conditions and higher risk areas could be redesignated if conditions deteriorate.
These restrictions are put in place in order to reduce the number of preventable human-caused fires and lower the risk of wildfires impacting the public.
