Owen Sound is reopening three of its municipal boat launches.
It's due to the Provincial announcement that some restrictions would be lifted as part of the first stage of the reopening framework.
The announcement included parks and some recreational amenities within Owen Sound that had been closed to the public throughout the pandemic.
The City’s three municipal boat launches will officially reopen to the public at 12:01 am on Saturday, May 16th.
This includes:

The East Side Boat Launch located at 1900 3rd Avenue East.
The East Bayshore Road (RCA) Boat Launch.
*Boaters and anglers are strongly encouraged to practice the physical distancing guidelines provided by the Grey Bruce Health Unit while fishing and using boat launch amenities.
Seasonal boat launch passes are available at the West Side Boat Launch or by calling 519-371-1988.
