Help is needed for the local family who lost everything in a house fire in Horning’s Mills.
In the early morning hours of Thursday May 14th, two people escaped their home with just the clothes on their backs, and firefighters managed to rescue their pets.
Unfortunately they did not have property insurance.
A family friend has launched a community campaign to get them what they need during this time.
They aren’t in need of household items as they are staying in a hotel, but can use grocery store or Walmart gift cards.
There has been a bank account set up at TD Bank in Orangeville at the mall location on First Street.

People can contact Rebecca Liebigt at (416) 806-4815 for information on how to help.
She is also taking donations on the porch of her home at 96 Bythia Street.
