The cautious reopening of the Province will continue.
On Thursday, more good news about getting people back to work is being promised.
This despite today’s Provincial State of Emergency extension which see’s the State remain in effect until June 2nd.
Premier Doug Ford says seasonal, low-risk and essential businesses will be amongst those addressed Thursday during the next reopenings announcement.
“On Thursday we will share more good news,” said Ford. “More good news about getting people back to work, more good news about opening workplaces, getting paychecks out the door. More good news about slowly getting back to normal.”
Ford says good news is coming for camper and trailer owners too in the future.
Finance Minister Rod Phillips echoed Ford’s optimism.
He says the reopening phase is close, so the government is listening to the people of Ontario for ideas and suggestions so it is a success.
